Teen pregnancy is a very difficult experience for teenagers. It can interrupt school or many other plans that you may have for your future. It can create stress, depression and many other emotions. The pressure of having to tell your parents and seek help may seem impossible.
Many teens might be in denial about the pregnancy. Denying the pregnancy could put you and your baby at risk. If you are pregnant make sure that you seek help right away. Don't be ashamed or embarrassed about it. You have to make sure that you decide the best possible choice for you and your child.
My cousin got pregnant in high school, and said it is hard to feel accept because you stick out so much. Luckily her friends stuck by her side. She was also able to finish high school and go to college. She kept her baby, and she is now two years old.
ReplyDeleteI think your post was informative.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with teen pregnancy being a difficult thing to go through. Because technically you are still a kid yourself and now your are being forced to grow up and take care of another human being beside yourself. Its a very sensitive topic in our society today and is looked down upon by many people.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. It would be really hard to tell someone, on the other it’s the right things to do no matter what.Even though you are still a kid you have to take care of another human being.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your blog, teen pregnancy is a very tough situation. As teens go through their high school career and thinking about college plans, theirs not only one person anymore theirs two. It would be so hard to tell someone, and be afraid that someone wouldn't accept you if you got pregnant at such a young age.
ReplyDeleteI think teen pregnancy is tough to go through. The second you find out your'e pregnant, seek help. It is faster than hiding it from your parents. They might offer you some good advice.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that some people deny it, but your right people need to seek help ASAP.
ReplyDeleteTeen Pregnancy has been increasing throughout time. It's to the point where there is at least one pregnant teen in high school. I think people should begin to realize how being pregnant at such a young age changes the rest of your life. This goes for both the mom and dad of the future baby.
ReplyDeleteIt is important to remember that we are fortunate to have a lot of support in this school for people who are faced with the issue of teen pregnancy. There are counselors, teachers, and community organizations that pride themselves on their ability to help our friends/family/community through the difficult challenges we face in life.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that there is anything to be embarrassed about if you get pregnant in high school. Yeah your young but being pregnant is a beautiful thing. Also I think that people shouldn't have sex until they know they are mature enough and stable enough to take care of a baby.
ReplyDeleteI believe that seeking help right away is always a good idea. And being embarrassed about something like this would be normal and understandable. It is a mistake but we learn from our mistakes so we don't do it again.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's anything wrong with being pregnant young or in high school. It might make it harder but if someone is pregnant that was their choice in the first place, and they obviously feel they are ready for the responsibilty.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I feel that teen pregnancy is a rough challenge for teen who are facing the problem. On the other hand its also good for the teens to have a school that provides counselors and good teachers to talk to if the teen need support.
ReplyDeleteI can understand the embarrasment of getting pregnant. You'd have to deal with everyone at school, your family, and others. Its a scary process, but I know people that have turned out sucessful from it. Getting help and support right is away is the best thing you can do.
ReplyDeleteI know a friend who got pregnant as a teen. But, everyone still respected her for who she was and still is. Now she has an amazing child that is a gift! She had so much support and that's the way it should be.
